Junior Prom, a popular teenage magazine, was published monthly, September thru June. It cost $1.25 for a full year subscription and a mere $.15 a copy. It provided us with insight to other schools activities as well as utilizing students as models to sell and promote products such as 7-up, DP&L and Krogers Grocery Store.
Our own, Friedman-Easterling Studios (Sue Friedmans’ Dad) took all the photography for the magazines. Mr. Friedman caught a lot of us when we weren’t looking, and posed others for the shot. Here are a few of those photos for you to enjoy.
